Bards of the Land of Snows
We only sing what the snows remember — every deity's story, carried in silver.

Most people start here. Each one is cut, carved and finished by a single pair of hands before it is allowed to leave the bench.

THE PIECE THAT TURNS
One pendant, two faces. Turn it over and the sun gives way to the moon — the garnet catching the light on one side, the blue topaz cool on the other. Most people wear it both ways.
Titanium bead chain included, 65 cm / 25.6 in. Sterling silver wheat chain +$300.
Spirits of Life
Bones of the tree, spirit of the wind — rooted in strength, wild and free. The Celtic tree of life carved twice: once to wrap the wrist, once to sit on the hand.

Fire-gilding is not electroplating. A thick leaf of 24K gold is laid on the silver and fired at around 900 °C / 1650 °F, just below gold's melting point of about 1063 °C, until the two metals fuse into one. Every line is then re-cut by hand under a 40× microscope, and each gilded area goes through the same steps — the finer the area, the harder the work. What is left is real gold that is part of the piece, not a thin skin sitting on top of it, which is why it wears down slowly instead of flaking away.

Three pieces, one animal
The Mystical Serpent Collection is our own — each piece born from the language of old symbols, carrying the wisdom of shedding and the strength of guarding, etched into silver by the heat of the hand. It does not follow the tide. It waits for the one who will recognise it.
Where the whole thing began
Vajras, stupas, wind horses and phurbas, carved to the proportions the tradition asks for. Pieces made to hold relics can be filled and sealed at the monastery we work with before they ship.
From before anyone wrote it down
Past the edge of what we already know how to make, into the deep forest — looking for the lives that were there long before anyone arrived to name them.
What comes with every piece
Free lifetime servicing
Send a piece back at any time and we will clean it, re-polish it and check every setting. You cover the postage to us; the work itself is free, for as long as you own it.
Consecration on request
Pieces built to hold relics can be filled and sealed at the monastery we work with before they ship, at no extra charge and with no added wait. Ask for it when you order.
Named for what it is
S925 sterling silver throughout. 24K fire-gilding where we say there is gold. Every stone called by its real name — Swiss blue topaz is never sold here as sapphire.
The people at the bench
A carving tool does not hold anything. Everything that makes these pieces what they are lives in a small number of pairs of hands, and in the years it took those hands to become steady. This is who they are.
Framed Tibetan Buddhist art, finished by hand at a temple.
Fine gold line work on a black ground, set with crystals by hand.
Finished at a temple
Each thangka begins as our own drawing, printed on heavy card. It then goes to a temple, where elderly lay Buddhists set every crystal and trace the gold outlines by hand, about two days for each piece. To them, the work is also an offering.
BARD OF THE SNOWLANDS
In Tibet, wandering bards once carried the great epics from valley to valley, by heart, line by line. We think of our work the same way.
Garuda, the vajra, the stupa: each piece begins as a story. It is carved by hand in sterling silver, every line re-cut under the microscope — and on our gilded pieces, 24K gold is fused into the silver by fire.
It is slow work. The legends are old; we are simply the latest to sing them.
