Design Philosophy

1. The main body is crafted from S925 sterling silver, with the gold sections finished using our traditional hand-applied gold-plating technique. Every detail is hand-engraved under a 40x microscope.

2. Our design draws inspiration from the Chinese idiom "Ma Ta Fei Yan" (Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow) — a poetic image where a running horse and a swallow in the distance overlap in the vast grasslands, as if suspended in the same moment, rich with artistic and spatial resonance.

3. We have designed this piece with a subtle, understated touch — one that requires a certain depth of appreciation to fully grasp. The horse's mane is rendered like blazing flames, wild and untamed, evoking a spirit of boundless freedom.

4. The lines flow with a smooth, sweeping rhythm, as if the horse galloping across the prairie transforms into a dragon, ascending into the heavens.

Material & Craftsmanship

Material: S925 sterling silver, 24K Gold-plated, Natural Garnet

Gemstone Setting: One garnet set at the horse rein and one at the swallow section.

Traditional Fire‑Gilding Process: Gold foil is fused onto the surface of 925 sterling silver at approximately 900°C (gold's melting point is 1063°C). Using a 40x microscope, every detail is hand‑engraved and refined. Each fire‑gilded element requires repeated cycles of heating, hammering, and engraving — the smaller the surface area, the greater the skill and difficulty required.
