Peonies.\u003c\/strong\u003e Yellow, orange and pink peonies fill the night-blue ground on every side, with a jewel offering and a conch on a lotus below. Hand finishing.\u003c\/strong\u003e The image is printed on heavy card from our own drawing; elderly lay Buddhists at a temple set every crystal by hand and trace the outlines in gold glitter, about two days for each piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eThe meaning\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eOf the Five Buddhas, Vairocana is the one at the centre, and Tibetan teaching links him with the wisdom that perceives everything just as it is. Practitioners use his image as a support for meditation.
