Gold's own melting point is 1063°C, so the work happens inside a narrow window: hot enough for the gold to bond, not hot enough for it to run. Every detail is then engraved and shaped by hand under a 40× microscope.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is not ordinary gold plating: the gold is fired into the silver rather than deposited on its surface, so it becomes part of the piece — a real weight of gold, not a film. Because it is bonded into the silver, it does not lift, flake or wear thin.
